Produces neat holes through most construction materials including heavily reinforced concrete. Holes sizes 10mm to 1000mm diameter are achievable with variable depths up to 10 meters horizontally in some cases. Some applications include drilling for thermocouples in blast furnaces and lock ladder installation.

A selection of machines - floor saws, wall saws, concrete chain saws (pictured), wire saws - powered by electric, hydraulic, diesel or petrol produce saw cuts in brick, block, reinforced concrete and asphalt. Applications include the installation of services, road haunching work, construction joints etc.

A combination of wall saws, stitch drilling, plunge sawing, chain sawing, hydraulic crushing, chemical and hydraulic bursting allow the removal of selected parts of buildings, e.g. floors, walls, door and lift openings etc. The use of these techniques allow demolition to be carried out in a controlled way with minimum noise and vibration especially useful when work is required in sensitive areas. The picture is of a recent contract to form a tunnel in a dock wall approximately 5 meters deep.
